Speech Articulation, Multisyllable Words

Use painted wooden blocks to represent syllables (or other objects). Difficult words and phrases can be taken apart and put back together again. This teaches speech articulation and phonemic awareness. Model and practice two syllable combinations again and again. Stack an extra block on top of block(s) standing for the stressed (loud) syllable(s).
